With Emil...this evening...

'when I was a little boy...'
Emil as a friend told me this evening...
'we had our own adventures...'
'like?'
Me asked...
'like chasing a black hat from a train to a town...
Chasing him down...
Me and my friends
So mindful were we...
By reading detective stories...'

'and?'
Me asked...
'well...'
The single child...reared by mother
Losing his father
A saddlemaker
At early stage of life...
Emil Erich looked sad
And still he smiled...
(probably he was thinking of his mother...)

'for my mother, I stayed afloat...
All downs...and falls...
All...
She used to work day in and out...
To bring breads for me
The half fed...
But we Germans have got strong hearts...
We fight till the last...
So she fought
And with her
Me too...'
Emil stopped here...
A longish pause...

Meanwhile i was thinking...
Of my mother too...
My father...
He is there still
And she...his wife...
Had left in search of the galaxy...

But she surely knows where we both stand...
Me and Emil...
Where do we actually bond...
And how the same light from the Sun the same comes
And same pains are kept hidden in blood...
Same...
Emil my friend
And me...
Only he had been a German...
And there lies a differential equation...

But i dare to call Emil my friend
For he cares to come to me...
Once in a while...
On a breezy evening...
Right on the road...
